Blaupunkt monitors are equipped to accommodate up to four directly connected interior and external cameras, allowing the driver to keep a watchful eye on the passenger cabin or storage area, identify and prevent wilful damage quickly and provide for greater safety for passengers entering the coach.

Cameras mounted behind the windscreen let the passengers in coaches see what’s up ahead live on the monitor and, turned in the other direction, provide a clear view of the driver, which supports his announcements visually.

Starting in 2006, the camera switch will boast another innovative function to allow the automatic switching of up to four side and backup cameras on one monitor after a corresponding signal. The camera switch then supplies all the cameras and the monitor with power.
